I agree, her best short program ever.

Stunning! Midori truly was in a league of her own. I wish the pressure hadn't gotten to her at the Olympics, b/c she so clearly was the best skater in the world at the time! Still "Miracle Midori."

She dosn't do much artistry wise, but those jumps are great - strange looking legs does not help with grace that is a requried element

@xmykeyx i know, right. :(

@Newhighlander harding's axels are just a dumb luck. she had never landed any of them anymore after landing one in 1991.

oh yeah, so true.

Incredible. Powerful and beautiful Tango. I love her layback spin especially.

I meant to say all Harding's axels were off axis (well, all the ones I ever saw) and the one at 1991 Skate America was totally off axis. I admire her for doing them, but they're not better than master technician Midori Ito.
Newhighlander (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
Midori's was the best. Harding's was off axis, like all triple axels. Even the double toe loop was off axis.

yes she did and it was buch better then Midori's but this was a great program! |
