i remember the octopus! I'm 15 and when I watched this on take five obviously I was very little. We had it taped and I watched it all the time, and just been reminiscing the episodes we had on tape. You've just reminded me of that one! I also love the Hare and the piglet =]

it's italian and at least some of the episodes were filmed in the early '80s if not before(I remember watching them on a b&W tv when I was a child myself)

Fantastic stuff! Remember this show was first on Channel for in the middle of the day as part of their 'Take 5' strand of kids' shows. But it was edited down, I've never seen the credits or intro before! We love it so much it was taped it when I went to work! But I thought it was French, not Italian. Anybody know if they are available on DVD? My favourite episode (although I've not seen all of them) is the kossack dancing octopus. What's yours...
